Scarves.com

I had been on the hunt for the the perfect leopard/cheetah print scarf since last season. I finally found something to fulfill my lemming. I stumbled upon Scarves.com one night and there it was. I put it in my cart and ordered it without hesitation.

When the scarf arrived it was packaged nicely. I wasn't expecting that. Big plus in my opinion and I was able to reuse the packaging to wrap a Christmas present. The scarf was exactly what I wanted and its large enough to be styled multiple ways. I love it. I wore it on a cold night when my honey and I took Christmas pictures. (Post of that to come.) It wore wonderfully. No itching or scratchiness. I hate when you get a beautiful scarf and it's like that. And I didn't have to break the bank. Needless to say I will definitely use Scarves.com again.

Packaging

Pretty Animal Print Scarf.

Unfortunately it looks like the particular color I got this in is no longer in stock. But there are other varieties here: Animal Print Long Scarf.

My First OOTD!

Well, I decided that I should document some of the cuter outfits that I've been wearing. Why not right?

I had a press conference to attend today for Marcus Lattimore. He was making the announcement that he would be forgoing his Senior season at The University of South Carolina and entering in the 2013 NFL Draft. He's a top notch fella. One of the nicest most hard working athletes I've had the pleasure to cover.

I took a quick shot of my outfit on my tablet before I left. Not the best quality but it worked. I took a few more shots after I got home. It's was a rainy cold day so my hair suffered a little in the later photos haha.

Tablet photo. Not so bad.

Trying to pose. Awkward. Haha

Top: Target
Jeans: AE (old)
Boots: MIA (last season)

I really love that Cardigan. It's nice and toasty and I got it on sale. Always a plus.

And in case you're interested here is one of the many photos I took at the press conference today. It seems to be garnering a lot of attention. If you'd like to see more from the press conference just click the photo and it will take you to my album for today's event.

Christmas is in the air. Oh and I'm back...

I have severely neglected this blog. It makes me a little sad. My life has been all over the place since I last posted. Now I'm trying my hardest to get things back together. Anyway, I don't want to harp on those things right now because I've got a fun Christmas themed nail post for you all that still may read this little old blog.

I used Zoya's Karina and Suvi with a dash of Orly's Halo on my ring fingers. Now get ready for some picture spam!

Its so festive without stepping into the nail art territory. Nothing against nail art because I adore it. I've just never been one to pull that kind of thing off.

(And if you're interested my ring is by maryscabinet on Etsy! Love it.)

Thanks for reading. Hopefully I'll have a couple of more Christmas themes manicures to come!

Dogeared Jewels & Gifts

I've talked about Dogeared before on the blog. I absolutely adore their jewelry, and at this point own too much to count. I can guarantee that every day I have something on by them.

So if you've never checked out Dogeared before I highly recommend you do. There's a little something for everyone. All their jewelry is handmade in the US using environmentally-conscious methods too.

Your Invitation!

If you accept this invitation, you'll get $5 off your first order and I'll earn a $5 credit when you order!

I know not everyone is crazy about referral links. However, I feel like this is a pretty win-win situation. Then you can obviously do the same after you make an order etc. Referral link or not I would still shout out from the rooftops about my love for Dogeared Jewelry. So if you interested try it out!

You Callin' Me A Lyre?

This will be short and sweet. This polish is from the New York City Ballet Collection from OPI, and it has been on my tips for the better part of the last month. Nail length has varied of course. I'm in love with this sheer jelly. So much so that my bottle is about 1/3 empty. A back up is a must.

Circus Peanuts

Hello there! Sporadic posting. I'm so good at that.

I'm still frequently polishing. My new love, Corals! I'm wearing Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Coral Reef on my toes, and I love it.

I just painted my tips with Finger Paints new release Circus Peanuts. I got this for the name alone. I've loved circus peanut candy my entire life. (Weird to some I'm sure. Hehe.)

My camera couldn't quite capture the exact color of this polish. It looks more orange than pink in real life. I used 2 coats. No real application problems to speak of. Hopefully I'll get some longevity out of this mani since I have a busy rest of the week.

Are you digging Corals? I'm on the hunt for the perfect pair of coral shorts still. Hopefully I'll have some success soon.

Zoya's Jane with Pitch Black Glimmer

I recently got Zoya's Jane. It's a nice sheer your nails but better color. It levels itself nicely, so no streaky mess. I wanted to pump it up a bit so I added Pitch Black Glimmer from Nicole by OPI. I wasn't quite sure how I felt about it at first, but I'm really digging it now.

There you have it. I think Jane might be my new go to sheer.
