Neosporin Lip Health

I've had extremely chapped lips as of late, and my Mom just happened to find Neosporin Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy. I had been wanting to try it, but never found it. My Mom happened upon it today, and remembered I wanted to try it. So yay for that. (I also want to try Overnight Renewal Therapy, but have never been able to find it either.)

It claims it's Clinically shown to lock in moisture, and restore visibly healthier lips in 3 days. It has SPF 20 in it as well, and you can apply liberally as needed.

It does have a slight smell which I can't put my finger on. Nothing bad and it dissipates once on the lips. It doesn't have a taste. If you've ever used regular Neosporin on your lips you know there is a funky taste if you get it in your mouth, which is inevitable. Ha. This is like a cream and non-greasy.

My lips slightly chapped with the Daily Hydration Therapy applied.

After 3 days of use I will edit this post with the "after" and more about how I feel about the product. Expect that Sunday night.

Edit Sept. 19:
So I've been using thins pretty regularly for the last few days. It's kept me pretty moisturized and stays on well. Most of the gross chapped area is healed.
However I noticed I have lots of white little raised dots on my top lip. I know they are there on occasion but they seem very predominate now. It could have nothing to do with the lip treatment and it could just be me. Just throwing it out there, because I have no clue what they are lol.

Belated Blog Birthday...

I decided to look back and see when I made my first post. It was back on July 7, 2009. My little blog is over a year old. I missed my blogs birthday haha. Oh well, thank you little blog for being a fun place to share things I enjoy!

And thank you to all those who stop by and read it. I appreciate it!

Bare it All

I was perusing through Ulta the other day, and found a little beauty in the clearance bin. Bare it All by Ulta. It's one of those gray/beige with a purple hint polishes that are very in right now. I think I can dig this trend. It's on the lighter side. The formula was good. It evened out nicely in 2 coats.

Now let's have a look. The first picture I held it up against the plum colored towel so you could see the purple in the polish come out. The rest are outdoor shots.

Have a great day everyone. Thanks for reading.

Mummy May I

I picked up one polish from the China Glaze Awakening Collection. Mummy May I. There was just something about it. Deep purple glitter goodness. I was excited.
Although this color is a beauty it gave me heck with application. It was very thick and gloopy. I used two coats and it dried to a satin like finish and it was very bumpy. I used Orly Polishield as a top coat. It gave it some shine, but the finish was as still uneven. Ugh. Aside from application I do really adore the color. Vampy and fall like. I think I'll put some thinner in it next time I use it to see if it will ease the application issues.

Now peep the pictures.

Had to add this in since my darling girl was in the background.

Thank you for reading!

P.S. We will never forget. God Bless America.

Galaxy Girl

Orly's Galaxy Girl is on my nails today. It's from the Cosmic FX Collection, but most of you know that by now. This and Space Cadet were the 2 polishes that caught my eye out of this collection. I haven't put my hands on Space Cadet yet as it was out of stock just about everywhere. I'll find it eventually.
Galaxy Girl is such a nice fall color. It reminds me of a bruise. Haha. I love it. It's fun to watching it shimmer and change in various lighting.

Here are a few indoor shots and a couple outdoor. For some reason my camera had a difficult time focusing on the nail. Frustrating.

(2 Coats of Galaxy Girl. Orly Bonder as base and Polishield as my top coat.)

Happy Labor Day everyone!
