Miami Beet

I've been gravitating towards pretty raspberry colors for fall. They are my favorite. Thus Miami Beet and I were a perfect fit. Why had I never noticed this wonderful polish?

I've worn it with regular top coat, and then decided I needed to try it mattified. Matte polish seems to be making a bit of a comeback this fall. I whipped out my NYC Matte Me Crazy, and loved the results.

Indoor lighting.

Natural Light.

And here's a bonus shot of it in it's regular state.

Between this and Zoya's Paloma I think I have my perfect for me raspberries. Funny my collection of raspberry polish is quite small. Considering my love affair with the color I'm surprised by this haha.

Thanks for reading!

Matte About it...

I don't think I've really done an official review of Orly Matte Top Satin Finish Topcoat. For me personally it's my favorite matte. It's a satin finish and I love it. After a few days of wear you are going to get shine but it hasn't really phased me. So if that kind of thing doesn't bother you, go for it. The life of the polish is pretty great and I've gotten very few chips wearing it. Major plus. It also dries fairly quickly. No streakiness however.
This top coat has been my mainstay top coat on everything for the past several weeks. That says a lot considering a tend to change polish frequently.

Here is Matte Top (1 coat) over Hard Candy's The End (2 coats) layered with Sinful Pink 4 Ever (1 coat)

Matte Nail Swatches...

Here we have China Glaze's Recycle. Such a pretty gray.

Here it is with the Orly Matte Top Coat. I love it. It's not a true matte is a satin matte finish.
Now here we have Orly Matte Vinyl. This is the most true matte out of the collection. However after a day or so of wear you will start to see some shine.

Mattetastic!

So my package of goodies from Head2toebeauty.com arrived today. I was so excited. And without further ado her are some pictures.

From left to right we have Orly Matte Vinyl, China Glaze Recycle, Orly Matte Top coat, and Orly Blue Suede.

I quickly grabbed the Blue Suede to try out as I was very excited. The formula was great and dried quickly like matte's do. I was very pleased with the color it was just what I was looking for. This was 2 coats. I love it!
