Flannel How Do I Love Thee...

Fall in the South is interesting. As much as you want to break out all the cute fall fashions days in the upper 80's make it difficult. This weekend we had temps in the low 70's so why now break out one of my favorite staples, the flannel shirt.

I adore flannel. There really isn't much else to say about that. I also pulled out my new cowboy-esque boots. My favorite boots finally bit the dust in early spring. I was devastated, so I was on the hunt for something similar. I was able to find something similar at DSW. Big plus they are also real leather. Now to break them in!

Outfit details: Flannel Shirt (Target), Jeans (American Eagle-old), Matisse Willee Western Boot (DSW), Garnet Gemstone Necklace (Dogeared)

Happy Fall, and thanks for reading!

Weekend Wrap Up: OOTD, Rivers, and Candy!

Our Sunday's have become quite eventful days. I look forward to them. We go to Church and then we do some shopping and usually have plans with friends. It's exhausting, but oh so fun!

We hit up the new Urban Outfitters that opened downtown. After that we went down to one of the new openings of the River Walk. Then we headed to Trader Joe's because I needed my herb and spices popcorn and pineapple juice hehe!

Dress: Target (here)
Chambray Shirt: Delias (old)
Sandals: Target (here)
Headband: Loft

This dragonfly landed on my head and scared the poo out of me until I figured out what it was haha!

Love this fella!

Orly's Sparkling Garbage

After all of that we went to the Mast General Store and this is what happened:

Yay for candy and stuffed weenie dog toys named Frank! Haha. We ended the evening with dinner at Red Robin with our friends Jeff and Jill. Good times! Once we were home we watched some good ole reality tv and I played a pc game with my brother. Then I passed out. Another successful Sunday in the books!

Weekend Wrap Up: 4th of July Edition

Last week was the first time I was able to start getting around post surgery. It was nice to get out of the house. I had a follow up with my surgeon and he was pleased with how things were going. Its been a slow process, but things get better day by day.

My Husband took me to see fireworks on the 4th of July and I was so excited. It was a fun night. I've always liked the 4th and fireworks. It's a holiday I have fond memories of.

My Festive 4th Outfit:
Top- Target
Bottoms- Crimson Tribal Exuma Pants from Boca Leche
Sandals(not that you can see them)- Target

On Sunday the Hubby and I had a busy day. We went to Church with friends which was fun. Then we shopped a little and I got a smoothie from DQ that matched my skirt perfectly haha. I also got a few early Birthday gifts for my Hubby. (He turns 30 next week!) We then we to see Despicable Me 2 later in the afternoon with friends. It was so cute! To round out our evening we went to a Birthday dinner for another friend and her Husband. She is expecting and is just so cute. I love hearing about all of it!
I was totally wiped out after all of that. I haven't had such an eventful day in a while. It's a bit rough on the belly so I'll take it easy this week.

I can't wait for this movie! (This is also my only ootd. If I turned to the side I looked pregnant from bloating and swelling. I'm ready for that to go away haha.)
