Eclectic and Heavenly by Revlon

As I said in my previous post I'm all about a great Revlon polish. I picked up Eclectic and Heavenly a few weeks ago. I'm finally starting to jump on the mint green polish bandwagon. Now I want them all. Haha.

Here we have 2 coats of Eclectic with a 1 coat of Heavenly on the ring finger. Wore this mani for a week. It was love.

So pretty. Thanks for reading.

Girly by Revlon

I'm impressed by Revlon time and time again. I love that you can achieve certain looks at a lower price point than having to shell out for some of the higher end brands. I also get great wear from Revlon polishes. When I passed the Revlon polish rack I had to stop and grab up Girly a few weeks ago. It's a sheer/jelly pink with multiple variations of pink/purple/blue hex glitter as well as some holo glitter. What's not to love? This is 2 coats with no undies. I enjoyed it.

The polish matched my Fibromyalgia Awareness bracelet.

Naked Nail Polish in Sidecar.

For Christmas my boyfriend got me the Urban Decay Naked Nail Polish set. Aiding in my nail polish obsession. He's amazing right?! I'm a big fan of the Naked eye shadow pallets so this was a fun addition to that. I wore Sidecar over 2 coats of OPI You Callin' Me A Lyre? It packed a sparkle punch that I wasn't expecting. Very pretty, and I wore this for quite some time even when it did finally start to chip. Hehe.

OOTD: 1/10/13

So my intention when I got up today was to look cute and take my boyfriend lunch at work. That didn't work out since he had meetings. Another day. I went and ran a couple of errands instead. It was a beautiful day today so I decided to take the OOTD shots outside. I feel awkward posing. I'm usually always behind the camera haha.

Top: Forever21 (old)
Jeans: Mossimo Jeggings-Target
Shoes: Blowfish India Wedge Booties (here)

Bonus shot. (Like I don't have enough already lol!) Doggie photo bomb.

Sugar House Lane

I've had a couple of the Nails Inc. Special Effects Sprinkles polishes since summer time. I wore one briefly and never took proper photos. I did swatch them on Instagram however. Even though I had bought some new Sephora X polishes, Sugar House Lane started calling my name. Black and silver hex glitter in a taupe base, that's a win in my book. Really any polish along the lines of these are a win.

Pretty right? I like the neutral yet exciting aspect of this polish.

Now for some photo outtakes. If you didn't know I have two furbabies. They are generally running around while I'm taking my photos. (That is also why you see stray dog hairs on my fingers haha.) Today they were silly and I had to capture it.

Can I help you take photos Mom?

Mom stop taking pictures of that bottle and throw this toy for me.

Someone needed a belly rub.

New Year's Manicure

So I saw a post on Short 'N Chic using OPI's Barre My Soul and Pirouette My Whistle, and it inspired me to do the same look. I hadn't pulled those polishes out in a while so they needed a little love. I did a very similar look last New Year's Eve so I figured why not. Plus it's a great pallet cleanser after all the Christmas colors.
My family came to visit on New Year's Eve and my brother told me that this was the coolest polish he'd seen me wear in a while. He said it looked like snow. I must agree it does look like snow. Wish we got a tad of that here.
On to the picture spam.

Deborah Lippmann Home for the Holidays Collection

I'm a little late on this, but Happy New Year!

I was lucky enough to win a contest held by DailyCandy before Christmas. Deborah Lippmann was inspired by Starbucks and the holidays and created this limited edition nail polish trio called Home for the Holidays in partnership with DailyCandy.
I received this in the mail on Christmas Eve. It was such a sweet surprise. The 3 polishes in the collection are all inspired by different holiday drinks from Starbucks and are aptly names Caramel Kisses, Peppermint Winter, and Gingerbread Boy. They are all different finishes and were perfect for the holidays.
I'm so excited to have a limited edition set by Deborah Lippmann. I own only a handful of Lippmann polishes so it's nice to add to the collection. I've only worn Caramel Kisses thus far. It's a beauty. It has a rose gold/coppery feel to it with silver glass fleck.
Now on to the photos!

Lot's of pretty. Once I wear the others I will more than likely add photos to this post. We'll see.
